ABC, ActionAid Boost Community Education

ABC and Action Aid organisation have joined hands together for development of Masongbalan chiefdom. This is to make a difference in the communities of Masongbalan Chiefdom, particularly in Rokanu and Masemrah villages. The focus of their current project is on improving education by providing essential school supplies.
ABC is one of the leading Organisation in Kambia District that has promote educational instruments to school going pupils in Kambia District.
One of the main items being distributed by these organizations is desks and benches for the local schools. These supplies are crucial for creating a conducive learning environment for the students. The initiative is aimed at enhancing the educational experience and opportunities for the children in these underserved communities.
When interviewed, the director of ABC Development, Mr. Mohamed Kamara, expressed gratitude for the support received from Action Aid Sierra Leone. He emphasized the importance of meeting the felt needs of the community members and highlighted that the benches were locally constructed by a talented carpenter. This not only provided the schools with necessary furniture but also ensured that they have the means to repair and rehabilitate any damaged pieces in the future.
This collaborative effort between ABC Development and Action Aid showcases how organizations can come together to address pressing issues and make a positive impact on local communities.
