Hope Times CEO Inspires Interns

On the afternoon of Wednesday, July 16, 2025, the Bai Bureh Heritage Foundation warmly welcomed a high-level delegation from Hope Times Newspaper, marking a significant moment of collaboration and youth empowerment in Port Loko City. The delegation, led by the Editor-in-Chief Mr. Yusuf Ibrahim Kamara and accompanied by the Finance Manager visited the Foundation’s head office located at #3 Ballie Drive, off Water Works Road. This courtesy call underscores a shared commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders through mentorship, career guidance, and constructive media engagement.

The visit was more than ceremonial. It was a direct engagement aimed at motivating young post-secondary interns currently enrolled in the Foundation’s internship program in collaboration with Fruitful Healthcare. These interns form the 5th cohort of a transformative initiative designed to prepare youth for future careers by offering hands-on experiences in various sectors. During the meeting, Mr. Kamara shared insightful experiences about his journey in journalism, highlighting the importance of discipline, critical thinking, and creativity in personal and professional growth.

Hope Times Newspaper has long been a staunch supporter of Bai Bureh Heritage Foundation activities, frequently covering its events and amplifying its developmental work through media platforms. The Editor-in-Chief commended both the Foundation and Fruitful Healthcare for launching and sustaining a program that is clearly making a lasting impact on the lives of young Sierra Leoneans.
