Information Minister Marks Two Years in Office

Sierra Leone’s Minister of Information and Civic Education, Chernor Bah popularly known as CeeBah has marked two years in office, reflecting on his journey and reaffirming his commitment to effective public service.
Appointed by President Julius Maada Bio in 2023, Bah made history as the youngest minister in the country’s cabinet one widely regarded as inclusive and progressive.
In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, Minister Bah expressed deep gratitude and renewed dedication to his national duty.
“Two years ago, President Julius Maada Bio named me in his cabinet the youngest in the history of our country and its most inclusive,” he wrote. “As I mark this milestone, I’m even more determined to continue to deliver on the mandate of the President and to make my parents, my family, and my people proud.”
He continued: “I’m humbled and honored in equal measure for the privilege of serving under such a progressive and determined leader and alongside such dedicated colleagues. Two years since the appointment, my fire is even more kindled.”
Since taking office, Minister Bah has prioritized strengthening government communication, improving civic education, and promoting transparency and citizen engagement. As he begins his third year, he has pledged to deepen these efforts with renewed energy.
