Leone Rock Metal Group Commissions Newly Constructed Community Center in Pepel

In a significant milestone towards community development, Leone Rock Metal Group has officially commissioned a newly constructed community center in Pepel. The grand opening ceremony, held on-site, attracted a host of dignitaries, including senior government officials, traditional leaders, and top executives from Leone Rock Metal Group.
The state-of-the-art facility, built and fully funded by the company, aims to serve as a hub for social, cultural, and educational activities for the people of Pepel and surrounding areas. The initiative is part of Leone Rock’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to uplift and empower host communities through sustainable development projects.
Speaking at the ceremony, Community and Security Manager Alhaji Mohamed Turay of Leone Rock Metal Group emphasized the company’s commitment to fostering strong partnerships with local communities. “This community center is not just a building—it is a symbol of our long-term dedication to the growth and well-being of Pepel. We believe in creating spaces where people can come together, share ideas, and build a better future.”
Government officials present praised the company’s proactive approach to social investment, noting that the project aligns with national goals for rural development and community empowerment.
Community stakeholders also expressed appreciation, stating that the center will provide much-needed space for youth programs, women’s groups, public meetings, and other communal activities.
The event concluded with a tour of the facility and a cultural display by local performers, showcasing the vibrancy and unity of the Pepel community.
