Shebora Kamara Transitions Into Politics

As the curtain falls on 2025, emerging political figure Shebora Samba Kamara, widely known as Shebokam, has described the year as a defining chapter in his life one marked by reflection, transition, and renewed ambition.
Kamara characterized 2025 as a “bittersweet but remarkable year,” noting that while it came with challenges, it ultimately represented a major turning point in his professional journey. After years of active engagement in journalism, he formally transitioned into politics, a move he says was inspired by a long held vision he has now publicly unveiled as “The Blueprint.”

According to Kamara, The Blueprint is more than a slogan. It is a comprehensive vision built on endless possibilities, tangible development outcomes, and a sustainable roadmap for leadership and governance. He explained that the initiative is designed to prove that purposeful leadership and people-centered development are achievable when vision is matched with commitment and integrity.
While acknowledging that the full impact of The Blueprint will be felt in the years ahead, Kamara emphasized that 2025 will remain historically significant as the year the foundation was laid for what he described as a “massive and transformative ambition.”
In a major political declaration, Kamara publicly reaffirmed his longstanding membership in the All People’s Congress (APC), aligning himself openly with the party’s ideology and political direction. He noted that his association with the APC is rooted in shared values of national development, unity, and grassroots empowerment.

Kamara also announced that May 4, which coincides with his birthday, will mark another milestone in his political journey. He disclosed plans to make what he described as “one of the biggest announcements” of his public life on that date, urging supporters and well-wishers to remain engaged as events unfold.
Reflecting on his public service record, Kamara highlighted his contributions to the growth and development of Makeni City, stating that his work has consistently been guided by a desire to serve Sierra Leone diligently and responsibly. He stressed that support for his journey should be viewed not merely as personal backing, but as an investment in the broader development of Makeni and the nation at large.
He further underscored his deep-rooted connection to both Bombali and Kambia Districts, explaining that through his maternal and paternal heritage, he has long contributed to community growth in both regions. Kamara expressed determination to scale up these efforts, promising broader and more impactful development initiatives in the future.
In closing, Kamara expressed heartfelt appreciation to friends, colleagues, supporters, and mentors who have contributed to his personal growth and professional evolution. He offered prayers for collective progress and prosperity, expressing optimism that 2026 will usher in new opportunities and favor for all Sierra Leoneans.
