Tawuya Munu Opens Registration for December 2025 Football Tournament

The Network Enterprise Organisation of Tawuya Munu has officially opened the registration window for its highly anticipated Two-in-One football tournament, scheduled to take place from December 16 to December 27, 2025, at the Tawuya Munu Playing Field in the Kambia District.

The dual-gender tournament will feature 12 male teams and 4 female teams, offering an exciting platform to promote grassroots football and gender inclusion in sports.

According to the organisers, registration is free and open to all interested football teams, coaches, and managers. However, teams must meet specific eligibility conditions to be shortlisted. While participation is encouraged across the board, it is important to note that no transportation or logistical support will be provided.

The competition promises attractive cash prizes and trophies for outstanding teams and individual performers.

Male Category Prizes:

Champion NLE 25,000 (OLE 25,000,000), Trophy & Medals

Runner-Up NLE 15,000 (OLE 15,000,000), Trophy & Medals

Third Place NLE 5,000 (OLE 5,000,000)

MVP Award NLE 1,000 (OLE 1,000,000) & Trophy

Female Category Prizes:

Champion NLE 10,000 (OLE 10,000,000)

Runner-Up NLE 5,000 (OLE 5,000,000)

Third Place NLE 3,000 (OLE 3,000,000)

MVP Award NLE 500 (OLE 500,000)

In addition, a “Player of the Match” award accompanied by a certificate and a cash prize of NLE 150 (OLE 150,000) will be presented after every game for both male and female matches.

All teams must complete their registration by August 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

Organisers have emphasized that this “Two-in-One” tournament, to be played over 12 days, is aimed at fostering community unity and sports excellence in the Kambia District and beyond.
