Former Regional Chairman of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), Mohamed Bah, was honoured with the Award of Excellent Leadership and Discipline by the SLPP North America (SLPPNA), Virginia Chapter, on 17th October 2026.
The recognition acknowledges his leadership, commitment, discipline and service to the party and the people of Sierra Leone.
The award celebrates his contributions to strengthening party structures, promoting unity, upholding organisational discipline and advancing the principles and ideals of the SLPP. It also highlights the importance of integrity, accountability and dedication in political leadership.
The award was presented by the SLPP North America, Virginia Chapter, under the leadership of Chairman Ahmed A. Bowling and Secretary General Charles Rogers, in recognition of Mohamed Bah’s contributions to the party.
Leadership is not defined solely by the positions people hold, but also by their dedication to shared values, their commitment to service and their efforts to strengthen institutions. Recognising individuals who have served with discipline and purpose helps preserve organisational values and encourages responsible leadership for the future.
As the SLPP continues to strengthen its structures and look ahead, such recognition serves as a reminder of the importance of unity, discipline and collective responsibility in advancing the party’s objectives.
Congratulations to Mohamed Bah on this recognition.
