The clarification, issued through an official Embassy statement, comes amid widespread speculation generated by reports of possible restructuring within America’s global diplomatic network. The rumours had sparked anxiety among Sierra Leoneans, particularly students, business professionals, tourists, and families seeking visas to travel to the United States.
