DG Daboh Leads NASSIT Condolence Visit

The leadership of the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT), headed by Director General Mohamed Fuaad Daboh, has paid a heartfelt condolence visit to the family of the late Victor Jarward in a solemn show of solidarity and institutional support.

The visit, which took place on Wednesday, 13th May 2026, saw a high-powered delegation from the Trust gather at the residence of the bereaved family to sympathize with them and honour the memory of a man widely described as committed, dependable, and service-oriented.

Speaking during the visit, the Director General conveyed deep condolences on behalf of the Board of Trustees, Management, and staff of NASSIT, describing the late Jarward as one of the institution’s most resilient and hardworking employees.

According to Mr. Daboh, Victor Jarward distinguished himself through unwavering dedication, professionalism, and commitment to duty, even during difficult operational periods within the institution.

“He was more than a staff member; he was a symbol of reliability and devotion to service,” the Director General stated, noting that the late employee’s contributions to the Trust would remain unforgettable among colleagues and management alike.

As part of NASSIT’s welfare tradition under its “NASSIT, We Care!” policy, the Director General presented financial support to the family, including a distress allowance, burial support, and additional management assistance aimed at easing the burden of the family during the mourning period.

Mr. Daboh emphasized that while no amount of support could replace the loss of a loved one, the gesture demonstrated the institution’s continued commitment to standing with its workers and their families in moments of grief.

He further urged staff across the country to emulate the admirable qualities of the late Victor Jarward, particularly his punctuality, selflessness, discipline, and strong dedication to public service.

Receiving the delegation on behalf of the family, a representative expressed sincere appreciation to the NASSIT leadership for the visit, describing the support and comforting words as a major source of strength during the family’s painful moment.

The condolence visit concluded with prayers led by Deputy Director General, Administration, Mohammed Gondoe, who prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased and strength for the bereaved family.
